Password Reset Enforcement 1.11.0 released – more control, clearer visibility, and WP-CLI support

We’ve just released Password Reset Enforcement 1.11.0, introducing powerful new tools to manage password resets, along with a clearer and more intuitive user interface.

This update focuses on giving administrators more control and visibility when enforcing password resets — both from the WordPress admin and the command line.

What’s new in 1.11.0

Direct management from the Users page: You can now enforce or clear password resets directly from the Users screen — either per user or in bulk. This makes managing reset actions significantly faster and easier, without needing to open individual profiles.

Visual indicators for enforced resets: We’ve added clear, visual indicators showing which users currently have a password reset enforced. These appear both on the Users list and within each User Profile screen, improving transparency and reducing confusion for site administrators.

Improved user selector: The user selection component has been refined for better usability and smoother operation, especially when dealing with larger user bases.

New WP-CLI commands: For advanced users and developers, the plugin now supports WP-CLI. You can enforce password resets, clear enforcement, check current status, or list users who are currently required to reset their passwords — all directly from the terminal.

Under-the-hood updates: We’ve updated internal dependencies and improved the codebase to maintain performance, reliability, and long-term compatibility.

Update recommended

We strongly encourage all users to update to version 1.11.0 to take advantage of these new management and automation features.

You can update the plugin directly from your WordPress admin panel or download it from the WordPress.org plugin page. For questions and help about this release, please get in touch with our support team.
