Releases Summary for June 22, 2026

We’ve published a coordinated round of updates across the Teydea Studio free portfolio. Hiring Center, Password Reset Enforcement, StalePilot, and the Careers theme all received updates on June 22, 2026, ranging from security hardening and accessibility work to quality-of-life improvements like bookmarkable settings tabs.

Besides regular code improvements and shared dependency updates, here is what changed in each product.

Hiring Center plugin

For the Hiring Center plugin (changelog):

  • Bookmarkable settings tabs: the active settings tab is now reflected in the URL, so a direct link to a specific tab can be bookmarked and shared.
  • Clear server-requirement notice: an admin notice now flags unmet server requirements, including the minimum PHP and WordPress versions and any required extensions.

Password Reset Enforcement plugin

For the Password Reset Enforcement plugin (changelog):

  • Security hardening: a per-target authorization check was added to the Force Password Reset row action and bulk actions as defense-in-depth.
  • Accessibility improvements: the settings page and the Users-screen reset indicator are now easier to operate with assistive technology.
  • More reliable reset flow: reliability improvements were made to the forced password reset flow.
  • Clear server-requirement notice: an admin notice now flags unmet server requirements, including the minimum PHP and WordPress versions and any required extensions.

StalePilot plugin

For the StalePilot plugin (changelog):

  • A dedicated plugin icon: StalePilot now ships with its own icon for easier recognition in the plugins list and updates screen.
  • Bookmarkable settings tabs: the active settings tab is now reflected in the URL, so a tab can be bookmarked and shared.
  • Clear server-requirement notice: an admin notice now flags unmet server requirements, including the minimum PHP and WordPress versions and any required extensions.

Careers theme

For the Careers theme (changelog):

  • Maintenance update: dependencies were refreshed and general code improvements applied, keeping the theme stable and current.

WP Password Policy plugin update

We also published a major WP Password Policy update (Free 3.7.0, PRO 3.14.0). Both versions add a Restricted Words List that blocks site-specific terms – your brand or product name, or generic choices like “admin” – from being used in passwords. PRO 3.14.0 goes further with password expiry warning emails and a recurring scanner that surfaces vendor-default accounts.

You can read the full breakdown in a separate release post.

WP Custom Login plugin update

We also published a WP Custom Login update (Free 3.2.0, PRO 1.2.0). This release sanitizes custom color and box-shadow values on save, preventing CSS from being injected into the login page, and we recommend updating promptly. It also adds granular logo controls, with independent top, right, bottom, and left margins and full-resolution display.
