Today we’re publishing Teydea Login Security 3.10.0 (free) and 3.17.0 (PRO) for WordPress sites that enforce password policies. Site Health now warns you when a policy’s rules leave the WordPress password generator no way to build a compliant password, and the PRO edition moves to our new update service.
Shared Updates (Free 3.10.0 & PRO 3.17.0)
- Site Health check for conflicting policies: Tools → Site Health now reports password policies whose rules leave the password generator no way to build a compliant password, and names the settings that conflict.
- Display name check in Tutor LMS: Student and instructor registration in Tutor LMS now checks the password rules against the display name, not only the login.
- Clearer save errors: Saving settings now reports an error when WordPress refuses the database write.
- WordPress 6.8 or later: The minimum supported WordPress version is now 6.8.
PRO-Only Updates (3.17.0)
- New update service: Updates now come through the new Teydea Studio Updates API. Your license takes a site slot only when a key is saved, and frees it when the key is removed or the plugin is uninstalled. An update your license cannot install is still listed, with the reason.
- Clearer Dashboard → Updates screen: It now shows license guidance and no longer offers an update that has nothing to download.
- More complete personal-data exports: Exports now include the password policies that name the user, and the admin notices the user dismissed.
- Clearer license messages: When a license check fails, the plugin now shows the server’s message. License validation also works on sites with a Unicode domain name.
- Background tasks: A canceled background task now stays canceled when it was already running.
You can download the latest version of the free Teydea Login Security plugin directly from WordPress.org. PRO users with a valid license key get the update in their WordPress dashboard, as License Key and Updates describes.
