Releases Summary for October 30, 2026

Updates to Teydea Content Expiry 1.2.0, Teydea Hiring Center 1.9.0 and Teydea Password Reset 1.14.0 have been released and are available for download. All three now include their data in WordPress personal-data exports, and the minimum supported WordPress version is now 6.8.

Besides regular code improvements and shared dependency updates, we implemented the following changes:

For Teydea Content Expiry plugin (changelog):

  • Restore previous status: A new action in the Posts and Pages lists undoes an automated expiry, and the Expiry column shows the status a post had before it expired.
  • Daylight saving fix: Expiry dates set across a daylight saving change are no longer stored an hour off.
  • Privacy tools: Personal-data exports include notification recipient memberships, and erasure requests remove the user from the recipients.
  • Accessibility: The Expires date field in the document sidebar and the Timed Content block now has a label.
  • Reliability: A canceled scheduled action stays canceled when it was already running, and saving settings reports an error when WordPress refuses the database write.

For Teydea Hiring Center plugin (changelog):

  • Privacy tools: Suggested privacy policy text for application contact emails is now in the WordPress Privacy Policy Guide, and personal-data exports include application contact emails and the jobs they belong to.
  • Permission check: Job specification previews in the editor now check that the user can edit that job.
  • Filter fix: Requests with malformed filter values no longer fail during page load.
  • Accessibility: Filter choices expose their selected state, and the schema table has row headers.
  • Security: JSON in the schema markup is now escaped against HTML parsing.

For Teydea Password Reset plugin (changelog):

  • Confirmation before enforcing resets: The settings page now asks before it enforces resets, and says how many users are affected and what happens to them.
  • Preselected users: The new password_reset_enforcement__preselected_users filter lets a link open the settings screen with users already selected.
  • XML-RPC sign-in: Signing in over XML-RPC is now refused while a password reset is pending.
  • Privacy tools: Suggested privacy policy text is now in the WordPress Privacy Policy Guide, and personal-data exports include the user’s stored reset request.
  • Reliability: Canceling an operation now keeps its remaining batches stopped when another operation starts.
  • Security: The REST action now answers invalid pagination and wrongly typed arguments with a validation error instead of a fatal error.
