PRO Features Overview

Overview

Teydea Login Security PRO extends the free version with additional security features, unlimited policy management, third-party plugin integrations, and license-based automatic updates.

The free version is limited to a single password policy. The PRO version removes this limit, allowing you to create as many policies as you need. You can reorder policies by dragging them on the settings page. See Creating a Password Policy.

User Coverage

Each PRO policy includes a User coverage section where you can target the policy to all users, specific user roles, or individual users by username. Policies are evaluated in order, and the first matching policy applies. See User Coverage.

Weak Password List

The PRO version includes a built-in list of over 100,000 commonly used weak passwords. When the weaklist rule is enabled, passwords matching any entry on this list are rejected. Custom lists can be added via a filter hook. See Weak Password List.

Password Reuse Prevention

The PRO version tracks recent password hashes for each user and prevents them from reusing any password within the configured history. The number of stored passwords is configurable in the General tab. See Password Reuse Prevention.

Breached Password Screening

The PRO version screens passwords against the HaveIBeenPwned “Pwned Passwords” corpus using k-anonymity, so users cannot pick a password already exposed in a data breach. See Breached Password Screening.

Leetspeak-Aware Restricted Phrases

The restricted words and phrases list also catches obvious character substitutions (for example 4dm1n matching admin) when leetspeak matching is enabled on the General tab.

Password Expiry Warning Emails

When a policy enforces a maximum password age, the PRO version can email users ahead of time — on a schedule you configure — so they can change their password before it expires. See Password Expiry Warning Emails.

Vendor-Default Account Detection

The PRO version scans user accounts for risky patterns — default or predictable usernames, logins matching your domain, and unchanged display names — and surfaces them for review in a dedicated tab, a dashboard widget, and admin notices. See Vendor-Default Account Detection.

Teydea Login Security PRO integrates with popular plugins to enforce password policies on their custom forms:

WooCommerce — Login, registration, account details, and checkout forms. See WooCommerce Integration.

License Key Management
