Ultimate Member Integration
Overview
When Ultimate Member is active, Teydea Login Security PRO integrates with its custom forms and replaces Ultimate Member’s built-in password strength requirements with the policies defined in the plugin.
Automatic Configuration Changes
When the integration is active, the following changes are applied to Ultimate Member automatically:
- The Require strong password option in Ultimate Member settings is programmatically disabled. The related settings fields (Minimum password length and Maximum password length) are removed from the Ultimate Member settings page.
- The “Require strong password” setting appears as disabled with a note explaining that password policies are managed through Teydea Login Security PRO.
- The related Ultimate Member Site Health check is updated to show “Covered by the Teydea Login Security PRO plugin.”
What the Integration Covers
Registration Form
When a new user registers through an Ultimate Member registration form, the plugin validates the password against the policy that applies to the user’s assigned role. If the password does not comply, an error is displayed on the form.
Login Form
When a user logs in through an Ultimate Member login form, the plugin checks whether their current password is compliant. If the password is non-compliant or expired, the user is redirected to the Ultimate Member password reset page with an appropriate message.
Password Reset Form
When a user resets their password through the Ultimate Member password reset form, the new password is validated against the active policy. The password change timestamp is also recorded for age-based tracking.
Password Change Form
When a user changes their password through the Ultimate Member password change form, the new password is validated against the active policy.
Activation
The Ultimate Member integration activates automatically when both Teydea Login Security PRO and Ultimate Member are active. No additional configuration is required.
